Lámh Eile is Irish for ‘Extra Hand’ and that’s exactly what we are all about; giving our clients an extra hand when it’s most needed.

As local, experienced care givers we understand that when the time comes to seek that ‘Extra Hand’, it can be a very challenging period within the entire family. We specialise in reassuring the client and their family as they make this transition into homecare.

Mary Rose, a local Galway woman, has 30+ years experience in the medical industry and caring for people in a professional & personal capacity. She has now surrounded herself with a dedicated team of local & experienced homecare givers that are as passionate about helping people in their local community.

We like to call our team members ‘Lámheens’, which is a play on our business name ‘Lámh Eile’ meaning ‘Extra Hand’. Our ‘Lámheens’ are passionate about being a genuine support to people helping them to stay in the comfort of their own home.
